Danforth CTI Wins 1st “El Clasico” vs. Greenwood SS

Danforth CTI’s Senior Boys’ Soccer Team faced a strong challenge from rivals Greenwood SS in the 1st Annual “El Clasico”, taking home the trophy with a 4-2 win.

It was a hard-fought match, where the Redhawks were under intense pressure at times from a determined Greenwood SS attack, but the team showed grit and resilience in coming back from a 2-1 deficit to win.

We look forward to defending the title next year, against a Greenwood side that showed class and sportsmanship in defeat, but will certainly be hungry to even the score!

Mr. MacKinnon presents the “El Clasico” trophy to Danforth CTI.

Volunteers are needed to do some easy meal prep tasks, help carry plates of food to guests and help with dish washing and drying. This is a weekly volunteer-run event each Wednesday from after school until 7 pm. For more information see the information sheet on the volunteer bulletin board or see Ms. Reavell-Roy in Guidance.
