Big Shout out to the Senior Girls Volleyball team on and exciting win yesterday vs Western Tech in the quarter finals . Outstanding play by all team members .. The team now plays Rosedale on Wednesday in semi final action @ Rosedale , 3.00 pm start.
Attention grade 10s and OSSLT takers! Come to the Literacy Boost today at lunch in B75. Pizza will be provided.
Looking for a way to earn some volunteer hours? Network with students from different schools in your area? Discuss issues that are affecting you and the other students of TDSB? There will be an information meeting for interested students and parents/guardians about the March 2018 trip to London and Paris. We will be meeting Wednesday, February 15 at 7:00 PM in the auditorium. There will be a representative from EF Tours on hand to answer any questions you may have, as well as provide you with an updated itinerary. We look forward to seeing you as we get ready for an amazing trip.

Badminton Try outs after school today have been Cancelled. There is no badminton today, next try out will be Friday Feb 10 after school
In indoor soccer action yesterday – Danforth beat Monarch 7-1. Scoring hat-tricks for Danforth were Dave and Shaf.
Mr . Graul would like to thank all the volunteers who helped make last Thursday’s Junior Girls Volleyball Tournament and Friday’s Senior Girls Tournament a huge success.
Congratulations goes out to the Junior Girls Volleyball team who beat Central Toronto Academy yesterday ..Great job by all team members !! The girls begin playoff action next week ..The Senior Girls lost a tough 3 set match to Riverdale losing the third set 15-13.. Great effort by all team members . The girls also begin playoffs next week…

The student lounge will be closed today at lunch and reopened on Thursday.
This afternoon is the course fair. The cafeteria will be closed today at 12:00. Classes are scheduled to come down at specific times. Students, please bring your course selection sheet in order to highlight some potential courses of interest and any questions you have prepared. For any grade 11 and 12 that are on spares, please come down to the cafeteria during your spare.
The Boys Indoor Soccer team has a game today (Tuesday) at 3:00 pm at Central Tech. Dismissal is 1:30 pm.
The deadline for Semester 2 Night School is TODAY AT 2PM. If you are planning to take a course, be sure to sign up through e-Reg and let Guidance know that you have signed up by the end of the day.
There will be a wind ensemble rehearsal today at lunch in the music room. All students who play a band instrument and can read music are welcome.

Pay attention to these insightful words from him, ” What we need is not a history of selected races or nations, but the history of the world void of national bias, race hate and religious prejudice.” Join us at lunch today in the front hall foyer for the launch of our school’s Black History Month activities. All are welcome.

Black History Month is for us an opportunity to learn more about these Canadian stories and the many other significant contributions of Black Canadians to the settlement, growth and development of Canada, and about the diversity of Black communities in Canada and their importance to the history of this country. The month long celebration will be launched on Friday at lunch in the front foyer.

Black History Month is for us an opportunity to learn more about these Canadian stories and the many other significant contributions of Black Canadians to the settlement, growth and development of Canada, and about the diversity of Black communities in Canada and their importance to the history of this country.  The month long celebration will be launched on Friday at lunch in the front foyer.
