It’s that time you’ve been waiting for Danforth – time to buy your Prom tickets!  Tickets will be sold starting Monday at the early bird price of $90.  Make sure you stop by to see Ms. Lajeunesse in Room B06 or Ms. Panagiotakakos in Room C42 to pick up your prom ticket.  Don’t delay – tickets are limited and you’ll only have two weeks to purchase them!  J. The Coed Volleyball team began their season Wednesday with a convincing 3 sets to 0 win over Humberside C.I.  Great play by all team members.  Our home opener is this Monday in the North Gym verses Eastern Commerce C.I.  Come out and show your support for your team.  M. Graul

Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test – Thursday, April 11

On Thursday, April 11th all of our Grade 10 students and some other students in Grade 11 & 12 will be writing the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test.  Students should verify that they are writing the test by checking the lists posted outside of Guidance, the Special Education Office (Room B67), the Library, or in the Main Foyer.  If the student is not on the list and is not writing the test then they should not report to school on Thursday, April 11th as there are no regular classes.  C. Last Saturday, 19 Danforth students presented their projects at the Metro Toronto Sci-Tech Fair.  They did a fabulous job and brought back many medals.  Congratulations to:  Andre Betram & Seamus Ingram won Bronze; Adrian Novotny won Bronze; Fahreen Bushra & Nishitha Parial won Silver; David Yang & Philip Duncan won Silver and the Junior Chemist Certificate from the Chemical Institute of Canada); and Nelani Skantharajah & Tierra Williams won Gold!!  R.
